Open house luncheon held.

Norman County Retired & Senior Volunteer Program volunteers were honored recently at Bridges Care Community with an open house luncheon. RSVP, sponsored by the University of Minnesota, Crookston, promotes volunteerism and civic engagement for people age 55 and over. RSVP members are involved in a variety of volunteer work including nursing homes and hospitals, Bone Builders, libraries, food shelves, mission quilting, volunteer driving and much more.

Bridges served as the host site for over 50 volunteers from the communities of Ada, Shelly, Twin Valley and Gary. RSVP Director, Jan Aamoth, and Program Coordinator, Tammy Sykes thanked volunteers for their dedication and for the time they give to their communities.
