Crew members of a nuclear submarine being named for North Dakota are in Grand Forks for several days to talk about the sub.
USS North Dakota Lt. Cmdr. Kristopher Lancaster and Master Chief Machinist's Mate James Lucky will be in Grand Forks through Sunday to introduce area residents to the submarine that's being built in Connecticut and Virginia at a cost of more than $2 billion. It's expected to be put into service by mid-2014.
The sub will have a crew of 120 sailors and 14 officers.
