  • A Fargo man and a Grand Forks woman have pleaded not guilty to federal charges alleging they distributed heroin that killed a Fargo blues guitarist.
    Twenty-seven-year-old Nathan Evenson and 24-year-old Nicole Wadsworth are accused in connection with the June death of 30-year-old Cody Conner. The Forum newspaper reports (http://bit.ly/QgEYXM ) that they entered their pleas in federal court in Fargo on Tuesday.
    Both Evenson and Wadsworth could face life in prison if convicted. Assistant U.S. Attorney Chris Meyers wants them held in jail until trial, which is to begin Dec. 11. Detention hearings are to be held within a week.
