  • A man accused of being drunk while driving a Bismarck school bus has quit his driving job.
School Superintendent Tamara Uselman tells The Bismarck Tribune (http://bit.ly/WK6a4T ) that Thomas Griak resigned last Thursday in the face of being fired. He initially had been placed on leave without pay.
The 41-year-old Lincoln man has been charged with driving a commercial vehicle under the influence, a misdemeanor. He is scheduled to appear in city court on Oct. 18. A telephone listing for him could not immediately be found.
Griak was arrested on Oct. 3 after a worried parent called authorities and they administered a breath test.
