Man killed during scuba dive ID'ed as Reardon

Authorities have identified a man who died while scuba diving near Vergas.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office says he was James Reardon, 51, of Pierz.

Reardon was diving Saturday afternoon with a friend on Lake Seven when he went missing. His friend summoned help, and Reardon was found about 20 minutes after authorities arrived.

Sheriff Brian Schlueter (SHLOO'-ter) says Reardon was an experienced diver and no problems were found with his equipment.
