Drought, what drought?
Rain has washed away a day and a half of the District 9, Division I American Legion Baseball Tournament that was scheduled to start Wednesday in Detroit Lakes.
Due to rain, all the games were pushed to Thursday. Well, after getting in two games on Thursday, the rest of the games were postponed, including Crookston's against Moorhead.
Crookston and Moorhead got underway at 10 a.m. today at Jack Williams Stadium in Fargo.
In Thursday's games, Fergus Falls beat East Grand Forks II 10-2, while Perham defeated Thief River Falls 12-2.
In Friday's other games, East Grand Forks I will face Detroit Lakes in Detroit Lakes and East Grand Forks II will take on Thief River Falls in Thief River Falls.
The winner of Crookston and Moorhead will play at 7 p.m. against the winner of East Grand Forks and Detroit Lakes. The losers will play at 4 p.m.
