Age 82 of Mentor, died July 20. Funeral services will be July 25.

Donna “Eldora” Tice, age 82, of Mentor, MN passed away on Friday, July 20th at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 25th at 11:00 AM at Faith Lutheran Church in Mentor with Rev. Michael Sletto and Rev. Michael Schendel officiating.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 24th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Faith Lutheran Church in Mentor, and there will also be reviewal for one hour before the funeral.  All services are at Faith Lutheran Church.  Interment will be at Rosehill Cemetery, rural Mentor, and the Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home of Fosston, MN is in charge of the arrangements.  Messages of condolence may be sent at
Donna “Eldora” McNeese was born on September 24, 1929 in Detroit, MI, daughter of Frank and Sophie (Bruers) McNeese.  She grew up in Warwick, ND and also lived in Crookston and Fosston before moving to Mentor, MN where she has lived for the last 46 years.  She and her husband Virgil Tice owned Tice Trucking until Virgil’s death in 1979.
Her whole life was dedicated to her family and her church.  She loved to camp and would take her grandkids camping and fishing.  She loved to travel in later years, traveling often with her brother David and wife Alice.  She held various offices in the church until retiring this year.  She also taught Sunday School for many years.  Each summer the family reunion was held with many staying longer to camp and enjoy their time together.  She has always been the strong rock of her family and taught them what love of family is really about.
On Friday, July 20, 2012 Donna “Eldora” Tice passed away at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND at the age of 82 years, 9 months, and 26 days.
She is survived by her children, Kitty (LuVerne) Lomen of Lengby, MN, Pat (Gary) Olson of Lengby, Mike Misson of Plummer, MN, Betty (Kenny) Lomen of Lengby, Tim Tice of Fargo, ND, and Pennie (Chad) Korynta of Stephen, MN; brothers, David (Alice) Peterson, and Paul (Debi) Peterson; sisters, Ellen Marfet, Avis Sundbom, Paulette (Gary) Warner, and Junette (Don) Crain; 26 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren; as well as many other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Floyd Eggleston, Merle Misson, and Virgil Tice; brothers, Don, Gay, Gordon, and Herman McNeese, and John and James Peterson; sister, Gayle Schuroff; children, Peggy Peterson, and Kelly Tice; and grandson, Steve Olson.
