  • The Lake Agassiz Babe Ruth District Tournament kicks off today in East Grand Forks and goes until Sunday.


    Crookston's first game was at 10 a.m. today against Win-E-Mac at Stauss Park. The winner plays Saturday at noon, while the loser played today at 1 p.m.


    Both teams in the championship game advance to the state tournament in Maplewood, Minn. July 26-29.



    State 12-year-old Intact

    Wednesday's Times mentioned Crookston hosting the Cal Ripken State 12-year-old Intact Tournament Friday through Sunday at the Highland softball fields. Crookston opens the tournament Friday at 2 p.m. against Warroad. The winner plays Saturday at noon, while the loser will play Friday at 6 p.m.
