He did it again.
Travis Ross, a Crookston native, is leading an eGolf Tour event after 18 holes for the second consecutive week.
On Wednesday, Ross started The Championship at Wintergreen Resort tying the course record with an -8, 64, giving him a one stroke lead going into today's second round at Stoney Creek Golf Club in Wintergreen, Va.
The 24-year-old posted nine birdies in the opening round. He started on the back nine, getting a birdie on the par 3, 12th. Following a bogey on the par 5, 13th, he proceeded to birdie three of the final five holes to finish the back nine with a -3, 33. On the front nine, Ross started out with birdies on the first two holes and posted five birdies on a bogey-free nine.
Last week at the Spring Creek Classic, Ross finished t-20 after holding a share of the 18-hole lead.
The Championship at Wintergreen Resort is four rounds, wrapping up on Saturday.
