Crookston native Travis Ross fell back to t-10 after a 72 in the second round at the Spring Creek Classic in Gordonsville, Va.
The 24-year-old was tied for the lead after round one with a -6, 65, but his +1, 72 dropped him back in the field.
Ross' second round front nine was better than his first round, posting three birdies in the first four holes and finishing with a -3, 33. His back nine was not so special as he had two bogeys and a double bogey to shoot a +4, 39.
The current leaders are are -11 with Ross six shots back.
The 54-hole event was cut down to the low 46 players after the second round with the final round today.
