Daniel J. Strom, age 54, of Tomah, Wisconsin, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at his home. Dan was born in Crookston, MN on December 4, 1957 to Wallace and Audrey (Pederson) Strom. He was a 1976 graduate of Crookston Central High School. Following high school Dan was employed as an iron worker in Mandan, ND. In 1990 he moved to Tomah, WI, where he worked for Northland Cranberry and built log homes for Hart Construction. Dan later began working at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center. He loved vintage Arctic Cat snowmobiles, was a die-hard Minnesota Vikings fan, and enjoyed collecting wolf memorabilia. Dan will be very lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his family and friends.
Dan is survived by his daughter, Danielle Blevins of Tomah, WI; son, Matt Riopelle of Nebraska; special friend, Teresa Blevins of Tomah, WI; sister, Lorna (Jeff) Jorgens of Euclid, MN; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Audrey Strom; two brothers and a sister. May God bless Dan’s memory.
