  • The Pirate boys’ and girls’ hockey teams, along with the Leo Club, will be sponsoring a fundraiser for Benilde-St. Margaret’s hockey player Jack Jablonski during the boys’ hockey game Thursday night against Thief River Falls.
    Jablonski was paralyzed after being checked from behind in a junior varsity hockey game on Friday, Dec. 28, 2011.
    During the first and second periods, the girls’ hockey players will be passing around ice cream pails for a free-will offering. There will also be a banner for people to sign.
    If people are unable to attend, checks can be made to Crookston High School Leo Club and sent to CHS, attention Linda Morgan, at 402 Fisher Ave., Crookston, MN 56716 or drop it off at the school office.
