Arrests made in Fosston, McIntosh.
On Wednesday, the Polk County Sheriff's Office reported two marijuana growing operations in eastern Polk County.
The remains of the growing operation and marijuana were seized from 41511 U.S. Highway 2 in Fosston by the PSCO and Pine to Prairie Drug Task Force.
Two men were taken into custody. Terry Lee West, 66, was arrested at the residence on marijuana manufacturing and sales charges. Connected to West was Adam David Sterry, 27. Sterry was arrested on marijuana sales and manufacturing charges.
Eighteen pounds of marijuana and 19 firearms were seized by the sheriff's office. The street value of the marijuana is estimated to be $139,200.
Patrick Shaun Wright, 31, of McIntosh, was also arrested on Wednesday when agencies located remains of a marijuana grow and drug paraphernalia in his residence located at 515 S Cleveland Ave.
The PSCO says the two growing operations are unrelated.
The sheriff's office was assisted by the Grand Forks Narcotics Task Force, East Grand Forks Police Department, Minnesota State Patrol, and Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
The investigation continues.
