It’s tough trying to be tough.Take Vladimir Putin for example. Here is a slight but wiry Russian guy who seems to have two different public faces: Rage and threat of rage. Although I have never met the Russian leader, I know I would not want to meet him on his way back from buying a bottle of Stolichnaya, but what can one expect? He is a product of the Cold War, a former leader of the tough-guy KGB secret police. He even owns a well-deserved black belt in the martial art of karate.
