- Ness and Showers take first at the Polk County Fair's chocolate contest

- In the adult category, Marilyn Ness of Fertile, won the $50 first place prize for her Mocha-lotta Ganache Layer Cake. Jesiah Showers of White Bear Lake Township, MN won $25 for her Candy Bar Brownies which took first place in the youth contest.
