  •     The Crookston Rotary Club recently recognized three Crookston High School seniors as students of the month for fall 2013:  Victoria “Torrie” Greer, Andrew Biermaier, and Kennedy Resendiz.
    Student of the Month for September
        Name: Victoria “Torrie” Greer
        Parents: Phillip and Wendy Greer
        Plans after high school/college: “I plan to go to college at the University of Wisconsin Superior to pursue my passion in English and teaching.”
        Major or area(s) of interest: English, Secondary Education, Theatre
        Areas of involvement in high school clubs or organizations:  Theatre, Speech, True Players, Pop Choir, Leo Club, GSA, Fit X-60
        Honors and Awards:  Letters in Theatre, Speech, and Leo Club, National Honor Society
        Comments:  “Stay in school and find something you’re passionate about.  Work hard, be respectful, and stick to your morals.  Be your perfectly lovely self.  Thank you for this recognition.”

        Name: Andrew Biermaier

        Areas of involvement in high school clubs or organizations:  Apostle at the Cathedral, Leo Club, Student Council, Volunteer with the Knights of Columbus
        Honors and Awards:  Letters in Academics from 9th through 11th grades and in Leo Club
        Comments:  “Being a student comes before being an athlete, and I appreciate how that makes me a better athlete. Thank you for this award.”

        Name: Kennedy Resendiz
